Delete Your Data
We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request full deletion of your Casamenta account and all associated data at any time.
What gets deleted
When you request account deletion, we permanently remove the following data from our systems:
- Your account and authentication credentials (email, login provider link)
- Your profile information (name, bio, gender, avatar, dance styles, dance roles)
- Your location data (base city, current city, coordinates, travel-distance preferences)
- Your event-related activity and preferences
What may be retained
In limited cases, some data may be retained after deletion:
- Crash and diagnostic logs that have already been collected may persist for up to 90 days depending on provider retention settings
- Data required by law or needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements may be kept for the legally required period
- Aggregated, anonymised data that can no longer identify you may be retained for analytics
How to request deletion
Send an email to info@casamenta.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your Casamenta account so we can verify your identity.
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
